CIDER MILLS

  • Enjoy donuts & cider, baked/jarred goods, apple fritters, pony rides, hikes, and more at Yates Cider Mill in Rochester Hills.
  • Virtue Cider in Fennville uses only Michigan-grown apples sourcing from family-owned farms.
  • Blom, located in Ann Arbor, is home to cider flavors that are naturally gluten free and made completely from ingredients from Michigan farmers.

  • Knaebe’s Apple Farm & Ciderworks located in Rogers City hosts a U-pick Pumpkin Patch, along with a corn maze, orchard, a bakery, and more. 
  • Harvest Moon Acres in Gobles offers a huge variety of pre-picked pumpkins and squash.
  • Long Family Orchard & Farm is a family-owned Cider Mill located in Commerce with fresh cider and hot apple donuts, U-pick apples and pumpkins, a corn maze, and more.

SCENIC DRIVES

  • West Michigan Pike – US 31 offers sights of beautiful hardwood trees and beach towns, along with many roadside farm stands selling autumn fresh-picked fruits and vegetables. 
  • Historic Motor Tour – US 27 traces a historic Indian trail and links Cheboygan in northern Michigan to Miami, Florida. US 27 offers gentle hills, thick forests, scenic farmland, and charming small towns. 
  • Black River National Forest Scenic Byway – CR 513 begins in Bessemer and takes travelers by the Ottawa National Forest, North Country National Scenic Trail, and Copper Peak.
